We charge $40.00 per gun/receiver/frame/fire control unit to receive firearms that you purchase/acquire elsewhere.
We only accept firearms from other dealers and NOT from unlicensed individuals due to past issues.
The easiest way to arrange a transfer is to send us an email with the other dealer's contact information along with your information and any applicable order/invoice number as well as a description of what you are transferring.

NOTE: Every transferred handgun (frames/receivers/fire control units are not included) MUST have an approved lock or internal/integral locking device before it can leave our store! Customers may provide their own locks or purchase them from us to complete a handgun transfer.

The same $40.00 transfer fee applies to a gun/receiver/frame/fire control unit you are sending out to another dealer (e.g., sold on the internet or sent as a gift).
Shipping charges are in addition to the transfer fee and normally start at about $35 depending on weight/size/distance/speed.
Insurance is available at $2.00 per $100 of value. You may refuse insurance but any loss/damage/theft while en route is then your responsibility.
We will need a copy of the other dealer's FFL BEFORE we can ship your firearm. They can send it to us by email or fax.
Guns sent for repair/warranty/customization with no intent to transfer ownership are handled as a repair. Please contact us with any questions you may have regarding repairs.
Private Party Transfers

Private Party Transfers
For local customers wanting to complete a private sale to another individual we offer in-store transfers.
Both parties must be present at the same time and have current and valid identification.
The process is the same as for other transfers and does relieve the seller of liability if the gun is later used in a crime or is stolen. The transfer is also done in a safe and secure location.
Currently there is NO requirement to perform a background check on a private sale. A simple bill of sale containing both parties personal information along with a complete description of the gun is sufficient.
Our fee for in-store transfers is $100.00 per gun/receiver/frame/fire control unit as it takes a significant amount of time and record keeping to perform this type of transfer.
